Certificate Programs

Trinity offers an Undergraduate Certificate with 13 different subject areas. The Undergraduate Certificate consists of the completion of the Trinity Tutorial plus four undergraduate courses within the same area of study.
Trinity also offers a Graduate Certificate with 15 different subject areas. The Graduate Certificate consists of the completion of the Trinity Tutorial plus four graduate courses within the same area of study.
Courses in the same area of study have the same course prefix. For example, for an Undergraduate Certificate in Administration the four courses taken would have to have the AD prefix and be at the bachelor level. For a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Counseling the four courses taken would have to have the BC prefix at be at the master level, and so on.
Undergraduate Certificate Program Structure – 12 Credits Minimum
Courses are taken in one area of study (the same course prefix). All credits must be earned at Trinity. No transfer credit or experiential learning portfolio or equivalent credit is accepted into a Certificate program.
* Learners in the Undergraduate in Biblical Studies Certificate program may choose
any combination of four undergraduate courses from the BS - Biblical Studies, OT - Old Testament, and NT- New Testament areas of
study.
**Learners in Undergraduate Certificate Program in Pastoral Ministry may replace one Pastoral Ministry (PM) course with one Christian Education (CE) course.
Students who complete an Undergraduate Certificate program through Trinity may transfer those courses into an undergraduate degree program with the corresponding courses when available. Students considering this option are advised to select courses for their certificate program that are listed in the specific degree program they may be considering completing to ensure the courses will also satisfy degree requirements. Similarly, students enrolled in an undergraduate degree program may transfer the applicable courses into the corresponding certificate program when available.
