Accelerated Bachelors Degree Option The Accelerated Bachelor of Arts degree can be accomplished in any one of six focused areas of study designed to prepare a student for a specific career path or professional goal. Courses in the major define the subject areas of expertise being developed by the student and the accelerated format recognizes the students academic, personal, and professional achievements allowing them to complete their degree in a shorter period of time Purpose of the Accelerated FormatTo both develop and recognize in learners foundational knowledge and analytical skills within a Christian worldview that equip them for ministry and community service Model AThis is the ideal option for a student with no previous college credit but is age 25 or over and has at least 5-7 years of professional experience and/or ministry related or other specialized training
The Qualification Module requires the review/reading of 2 books; The Panorama of The Old Testament and The Panorama of The New Testament, plus the completion of an accompanying study guide. Model BThis is the ideal option for a student with 30 transfer credits, is age 25 or over and has at least 5-7 years of professional experience and/or ministry related or other specialized training
* Obviously, other options or models may be applicable depending on number of college credits earned and the Enrollment Advisor has the flexibility to work with the student on a program to fit their specific situation. The Combined Degree programs (BA/MA, etc...) may be best for the person with a large number of transfer credits.
